Trauma Nursing Reverification Course

Who can take TNCC Reverification?

TNCC Reverification course is for TNCC providers that have taken either the 5th edition or 6th edition within the past 4 years and have a current TNCC verification card that has not expired prior to the date of the reverification course.

You must send a copy of your current TNCC verification card with your registration that does not expire before the date of the course. It is strongly recommended that you review all chapters from the 6th edition TNCC provider manual.

TNCC Reverification Schedule

Course content consists of lecture and psychomotor skill station review and written exam with Trauma Nursing Process station testing.

This is a Sample of a Reverification Course Schedule

• 0800-0815 Introductions and Plan for the day
• 0815-1100 Reverification Course Lecture
• 1100-1130 Pretest review
• 1130-1145 TNP and Helmet removal video
• 1200-1245 Lunch
• 1245-1545 Skill station review
• 1545-1745 Written test and TNP evaluation station

This is a course where your knowledge and skills will be evaluated. Advanced preparation is highly recommended.

Trauma Nursing Process and the fifty question multiple-choice exam.

Retesting Rules

Participant may retest TNP or The multiple choice exam but not both.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

7.75 Contact Hours are awarded for completion of the entire course.
